I need advice on home stuff?

Ok I am Jonathan
im not going to college
i am 18 yrs old
and i dont have a job

my dad just told me
"you should sweep atleast"
since we dont have carpet
i dont do any chores

i am basically watching tv chatting online all day long
and i eat too ofcourse

when i eat,
i feel like they are watching how much i eat lol
i dont eat alot
but i dont feel confortable when i eat around my dad

anyways
what should i do?
i mean i dont know how to do a thing around here
i am basically one of those rich people who dont do a thing but party

If you are serious, then answer this first: what do you WANT to do? Apparently your parents are pretty laid back and not very emphatic with their request that you contribute. So you could probably get away with lazing about for months and years.

But is this what you want to look back to in five years? Is partying, TV and online chats really all you ever want to do? Do you ever feel bored with any of this? Would having a degree make you feel better about yourself? Do you like the feeling of pride after an accomplishment? Do you want to have a means to support yourself in case your rich background doesn’t include a life-time trust fund?

If the latter rattles your cage, then get off your butt, start learning something, even if it is how to run a load of laundry. Go back to school, travel, get out there and make something of yourself.

It’s like going to the gym, hard to get up early and do the strenuous exercises. But you know you’ll feel so much better for the rest of the day.

Get a hobby! Richie Rich kids can get a life too. Your parents won't always be there to support you. Maybe you should get a job or get a second look at going to college.

Go roll around in all your money and stop complaining. You're 18 and you have nothing to worry about. Your biggest problem is anxiety about eating. Go outside and buy something.
