Is it just me or is this whole General Petraeus ad overblown? What ever happened to free speech? I personally do not think the ad was tasteful or warranted even though I vehemently oppose the war. Yet Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reiley and almost every other GOP pundit won't let the stupid thing go. There are much more important things going on in the world. Like the actual war, the jena 6, Israel decided to bomb Syria this week, the president of Iran is in town, school shootings in Delaware. What do you all think?

The issue is not so much about the ad itself...although it was contemptible in its own right...but more it is about the BIAS of the NY Times that gave a $100+ K discount so that MoveOn.org could run their ad...an ad that they wrote and ordered to be printed BEFORE Petraeus spoke...yet it accused him of betraying the military without knowing what he was going to say. It is increasingly looking like the NY Times has broken the law...basically subsidizing a particular party.
