I think u hit the nail right on the head. Those teams consistently do well and therefore, we don't need to encourage "commentary" by asking that lame question of "How bout them....." We already know that our perspective team (mine being the COLTS) performed well as expected and leave it, humbly at that.

For any of these teams, a 9-7 season is a disaster. They're used to being consistently good & in the hunt for the Super Bowl every season.

yes, its because they are usually great and are never picked to upset... i use the phrase "how about them _____" when they do something specatcular like pull off a huge upset
