who actually invented the first computer,not babbage.?

isn't the first computing device the abacus, which is being disputed to have been invented by either the Chinese or the Babylonians?

so I guess that makes them the inventors on the first computer unless you'd count cavemen who've used sticks, stones and bones to help them count/compute.
