OK Let's see
Well you probably know
49 = 7^2 but it can also be -7^2. SO that's the key. So I will place the two numbers next to the item to show you.
49 = (7,-7)
400 = (20, -20)
121 = (11, -11)
225 = (15, -15)
3600 = (60, -60)
576 = (24, -24)
Hope this helps.

Each positive number has 2 square roots, one positive and one negative. For example 7X7 gives you 49, but so does -7X-7;therefore the square roots for 49 would be positive and negative 7.
49: 7 and -7
400: 20 and -20
121: 11 and -11
225: 15 and -15
3600: 60 and -60
576: 24 and -24
This is usually written with a "plus and minus sign" which is a plus sign placed on top of a minus sign.
This technique does not work for square roots of negative numbers, for those give you answers 'i" and is a more complicated form of math

49=7,-7
400=20,-20
121=11,-11
225=15,-15
3600=60,-60
576= 24,-24
just so you know when you take a square root of a number the answer will be +/- because 2 negatives times each other comes out positive.

Sure. The positive square root, and the negative square root.
7 x 7 = 49
(-7) x (-7) = 49
Remember, a negative times a negative is a positive.
