"In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country..." - President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - New York City - September 24, 2007
Should we help social conservatives immigrate to this gay-free, women-in-their-place moral paradise?

e hovland's answers speaks volumes about conservatives. Advocating the murder of children that's just sick.

I would urge all social conservatives to immigrate immediately so they could see what actually happens when religion over-rides logic and any sort of democratic government. Perhaps they'll like it. Perhaps it might make them wish they were back here.

Hmmm, as a conservative I find this rather humorous. I have been called a social conservative because I am a strong believer in people bearing total responsibility for their actions, no blaming society, mommy and daddy or the priest at church.
Now that that is out of the way, MY place as a woman is whereever I say my place is. My place is on the gun range; in the kitchen; voting; and showing up ignorant know-it-alls.
No gays in Iran; ok fine; there is also no bigotry right? Both sides agree this "man" is disgusting and ignorant; so why even go here?

What I don't understand is why the liberals aren't having a duck about this jerk coming here and especially speaking at a campus like Columbia. He espouses every single doctrine that the left hates, but they don't seem to be speaking out against him, his visit, or his dictatorship. What gives?
I am a conservative, but I still respect a man's right to sleep with another man, sick as that relationship may be. To assume or imply that the right finds any pleasure in this mans twisted ideas is revolting.

I doubt that Iran has no gays, besides the way women are treated would make any social Conservative sick. Of course Liberals have supported this "Muslim paradise" since Jimmy Carter helped bring the Current Government to power.

Seems that you have a much more obvious fixation on homosexuality than most conservatives. But I might ask you, do liberals favor Iran because the government has total power and beheads anyone who stands up against its authority? Sure sounds like your kind of place.

The real question should be do the democrats that believe in same sex marriage still think Ahmadinejad is a hero.
Many liberals would be the first to be hung in places like Iran.
And you think you have it so bad in America.

I cannot go against my God's decision but since God leaves gays and lesbians go unpunished physically, just accept the blessing.
If you don't believe in God, there's no reason to say anything about it. You already have that right by default so again just accept the blessing.
Anything else is just like any other things we have on paper.

Most social Conservatives have no problem with an individual's sexuality. That is simply a devisive lie that the Leftists perpetrate to paint us as intolerant. Holding the ideal of marriage as sacrosanct is not the same as hating a group of people.

Yes, Iran has everything they would like to see here in America including MORALITY POLICE. Conservatives and Ahmadinejad have the same agenda: impose their religion on the world and they are not afraid to use force "to spread god's love".
