I had a cigarette and this kid I knew saw me with it. He tells people about it. My friend tries to defend me. He said that it was a fake one from Spencer Gifts. The guy doesn't believe him and he tells this other named John. John says he might tell, but I am not sure who and thank God I wasn't smoking it. What should I do before he might tell the cop at our school?

First of all...... NO cigarettes.
Be thankful you weren't busted by an adult.
Next. Even if the kid does tell he can't prove anything. You can just say that he's making it up. Don't worry about saying it was a fake one from Spences, just say you didn't have one at all.

If you weren't smoking it what were you doing with it? Just be honest. You may get in trouble but at least you won't be seen as a liar.
Like my dad says "Don't do bad things that look good and good things that look bad."
You sound pretty young so you shouldn't have them in the first place. They make your clothes smell and finger nails and teeth yellow. Not to mention it kills you.

It's too late now, of course, but the very best way not to get caught at something is (obviously) not to do it. When you do get caught, own up to it. Admit you had it, and that it was not lit when he saw you. By owning up to it and admitting it, none of these other kids has any power over you at all. They can't blackmail you or scare you or anything else. Be mature about it, own up to it, and get on with your life. Learning how to do that is an extremely important "life lesson" to learn as you grow up.

ah drink a brew and come down, take off your diaper and be a man, at least it wasn't heroin. Besides beat up all rats they deserve it and you get in trouble for a good reason. smoking makes you cool but kick the cops *** and you'll be the coolest. eveyones right girls dont like cigarettes they like cocaine

Stop having cigarettes in your pocket for one. Be honest to whoever ends up on talking to you about it whether it is the police officer, a parent, or a teacher. You'll get in less trouble if you're honest about the whole thing.

A lie to keep another lie from being found out only spells trouble.

You might consider not having cigarettes.
If you break the rules, you'll get caught sooner or later. Hard to have much respect for someone who breaks the rules.

weeell i think by what you describe your waaaaay to young to smoke.....and cops really cant do anything...i use to smoke right infront of school (highschool) and the cops would just simply tell me to go on teh other side of the street. so i dont know maybe because your waaay too young they would most likely tell your parents.....but i think you shoudl use blackmail on the little punk lol....just keep denying it...

I doubt he will tell a cop. Only ******* do that. You shouldn't care what other people think. If they want to think you were smoking, let them. Don't worry about it. Wait for it to blow over. If you appear disconnected people will really start to think you do. Just chill.
