America - cheesy. I could see this if the parents are first-generation Americans and want a name to reflect that, but otherwise it just seems really silly.

Argentina - ditto. Random country names are just not my style (with the exception of those chosen to specifically honor that country).

Malaysia - yick. Ditto again. LOL

Asia - like the continent, definitely not. That would be sort of "ghetto-exotic-dancer" in my mind. There is an actual named spelled thusly, but said AH-shah, that I could appreciate -- at least it's a real name! LOL -- but since it's fairly obvious you're going for AY-zha here, I can't say I care for it.

China - besides the country, you have the lovely association with a big, burly wrestler. Attractive. LOL

Brooklyn - trendy, overused city name generally chosen by parents who've never set foot IN BROOKLYN, much less have any special connection to it. Completely classless.

Madison - the stereotypical, trendy "son of" name for a girl. Unique.

Georgia - lovely. Finally a "place name" actually named for a PERSON, rather than a random city/country name slapped onto a child. Refreshing.

Jordan - overused masculine Biblical name.

Africa - no thanks.

Victoria - ditto Georgia. The name exsisted long before the place, not vice versa.

Adelaide - beautiful.

Sydney - too masculine for my taste -- I do like Sidney for a boy -- but I can see this if the parents have an actual connection to the city. Friends used it for their daughter because they honeymooned there.

London - ick. One of those "I want my child to sound more affluent than we actually are" sort of names. Generally some famous foreign city the parents know they will never actually set foot in. Again, seems classless.

Ireland - as I said earlier, only if you truly want to honor your roots in that particular country. Not if you have no connection to the place and just think it sounds "pretty." LOL Just seems ignorant and poorly-thought-out when place names are used so randomly.

Thumbs down to:
America, Argentina, Malaysia, Asia, China, Brooklyn, Madison, Jordan, Africa, London and Ireland

The only ones I can remotely stand as an actual name:
Georgia, Victoria, Adelaide and Sydney

More for the fact that those were created after the names of important diplomats, royals, etc. (Victoria after Queen Victoria, Georgia after King George, etc.)
The others are contrived as given names, in my opinion

They are all ok,

Out of your list I would rate ....Madison number 1

I live in Australia,I chose my daughters name from an old Bob Hope movie "Eddie Foy and The Seven Little Foys" they were at a railway station called New Rochelle,so hence I loved and chose the name Rochelle (I saw this movie 35 yrs ago)

America - I'm not too fond of this name. It's okay, just not my favorite at all. Cute nicknames are Merie (Mary), Erica, Emma, etc.

Argentina - I don't like this at all. It just sounds wrong. Argentina isn't a name! Plus, what would you call her for short?

Malaysia - I don't like this one at all either.

Asia - Nay. Sounds...ugly.

China - Not as bad as some of these, but still not good.

Brooklyn - This is one of the better ones on your list, but I don't like it. It sounds too trendy. I really like Brooke, but Brooklyn isn't my taste.

Madison - This is one of my favorites on your list. It's really a great name for kids and adults, and not too overused. Maddie / Maddy, Addie / Addy, Adison, etc. for nicknames.

Georgia - I love this name! It is my favorite on this list. It is really cute and gentle sounding.

Jordan - Its okay, doesn't sound made up. However, in my opinion it is too masculine for a girl.

Africa - Not at all. This isn't a name by any means!

Victoria - Adorable. Sounds like a name! Very cute and classic.

Adelaide - I really like this name, as well. I was almost named Adelaide =] It is adorable and not common. I really like the nickname Addie too.

Sydney - This name is classic and cute. Just not my taste, but still cute.

London - Nay. This sounds too trendy...and not great for an adult starting a professional career.

Ireland - Not at all. Your child would be ridiculed forever.

MY SUGGESTIONS:
Virginia - Adorable and not made up sounding. I think it this one of my favorite "location names" besides Georgia.

Marilyn - Not really a place...but it sounds like Maryland =]

Paris - I really don't like this one, but it's an option.

Alexandria - (Alexandria, VA) I really like this one, because it is an acutal name and doesn't sound made up or too out-there. It is not too popular, either. Cute nicknames include Allie, Alex, Lexie, Andria, etc.

Athena - Not one of my favorites, but it's an option.

BEST:
Alexandria
Virginia
Georgia
Adelaide
Victoria
Madison

OKAY:
Sydney
Jordan
Brooklyn
Athena
London
America

EWW:
Argentina
Malaysia
Asia
China
Africa
Ireland

I hope this helps!
Good luck and God bless

Some of the names are alright, like Brooklyn, Madison, Georgia, Jordan, Victoria, and Sydney. The rest of them, such as America or Africa, are just strange as names. One of my friends named her child "Londyn" (London) and I'm still getting used to it.

Yes to Asia, China, Brooklyn, Georgia, Jordan, Victoria, Adelaide, Sydney, London and Ireland.

No to America, Argentina, Africa and Malaysia - they might be used, but I think they're a little much.

You've missed one of my favorites - India!
