Ventilation and lots of it. Try shampooing the carpet, might lift some of the gasoline. It will stink for a good while, so keep the car well ventilated so the smell will go away. Or replace the carpet but that will be some work to do.

Do not use any dehumidifier like the chemical type that you place in closets to draw humidity. The fumes might react with the absorbing crystals.

I believe an open box of baking soda might absorb some of the stench.

Rip that carpet out of the trunk before it gets cold out and you have the heat on plus smelling gas.
