A decent actor, but I just don't get the "hot" lable. Not an earth shattering issue by any means, I'm just curious...

I like him for the reason I like such other actors as:
Nicholas Cage
Christopher Walken
Gene Wilder
None are my all-time favorite actors--
none make me think 'hot'--
but they have a certain mystery to them...some eccentricity........I like that in them :)

I'm not sure what the whole Johnny Depp thing is about. Personally, I prefer Bruce Willis!!!!

Yeah I kind of know what you mean. I think he's the best looking in Sleepy Hollow, but I think everyone is way to obsessed with his portayal of "Cpt. Jack Sparrow" I mean he's good at acting and all but I think he's a little overrated in a lot of aspects.

I didn't understand the interest in Johnny Depp when he was on 21 Jump Street, I understand it even less now! He's not even that great an actor to me. *Shrugging*, People like who they like, but.............................Johnny Depp?

I am with you on this one, but i also don't go for the Brad Pitts either. Pretty boys and players annoy me. Great actor though!

He's not one of my favorites either.
He was cute in Edward Scissorhands, but the pirate movies weren't that interesting.
May be one day his acting talents will actually surface, I certainly hope so. He has potential.

I used to like watching him in movies, but as he got older I stopped! He really has change his looks over the years, that left me uninteresting!
