Stock up on anything not perishable you can use for meals – cereal, soup, pasta, peanut butter. Make some meals and freeze them. I cooked a bit, but I really wanted easy things.
Get plenty of paper products- paper towels, TP, Kleenex, more maxi pads then you think you will ever need, disposable plates, cups, utensils. Plus soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, Tylenol, anything you use regularly get extras.
Get yourself a couple of baby info books, you will be obsessed in those first few weeks and be glad to have information at your fingertips. Also get yourself something non-baby related – a novel or movie that you save for after the baby is born.
Have comfy clothes for yourself after you bring home baby. A new robe that you won’t care what happens to is nice to have.

If you have freezer space, start cooking double batches of dinner and freezing some to put away for after the baby comes.
Get lots and lots and lots of diapers. Buy a pack every trip to the grocery store and you'll be set.
Anything you can eat with one hand is good. Let's see -- I'm thinking of pantry/freezer stuff. Frozen fruit will be a good healthy snack. Granola/cereal bars, etc.

the first thing you should stock up on is your feminine hygine stuff because you will need that. grocery wise stock up on your usual believe me I have two children born in the winter one in november and one in January. the only thing you might not want to stock up on is milk because it goes bad so fast. if you need to go out with the baby there is a cuddle bag that goes over the carseat and keeps the baby warm so you can go out. you might also want to stock up on Diapers and Formula or if your breast feeding breast pads which are the pads you stick in your bra and breast milk bags all the rest is easy to remember and remember always relax after having a child it's alot of stress on your body after.
