Does anyone else find it hilarious that Milton Bradly tore his ACL while ARGUING WITH THE UMPIRE? Honestly.....he probably cost the Padres the season....thats just pathetic--should be a great story for him to tell his kids: "yeah, me and the ump got pretty physical"

Kids, nothing is funny about someone getting injured. Grow up.
btw, the Padres wouldn't be anywhere near the playoffs without Bradley.

No - I think what's hilarious is the fact that the umpire still has his job. Just another case of an umpire who thinks that he's more important then the game. Any umpire that eggs on a player the way he did should be gone immediately, whether that player happens to be a jerk like Bradley or a decent guy like Cal Ripken. If Selig has any backbone at all, Winters will never call another game in the majors or in any of the affiliated minor leagues.

Yes, I have to admit, that had me chuckling. He is convinced that it's all that umpire's fault that he hurt his knee. It just goes to show you: You ain't never seen everything! First there's that fellow who took a day off because of a bruised tooth, and now, as you say, 'tore his ACL arguing with the ump.' Gees Louise!!!

when i first saw the video and everything,i did think it was funny.
and then when i saw he hurt his leg,i was like,well..that's whatcha get for arguing with the ump! plus hes a good player so that kinda sucks that hes out for the season [sucks for the Padres and the fans,of course]

It's not funny to the Padres or their fans to be sure. It certainly gives a ray of hope to the Phillies and their fans. It was a pretty ridiculous scene. How he managed to blow out his ACL is beyond me! lol

no i imagine your only being a jerk. What if that woman is crying over someone who died or someone who were given damage? I mean if a woman is crying reason she broke her nail then yeah i visit ascertain every person giggling yet you want to understand the rationalization first formerly making a comic tale out of it.

It's pathetic because the umpire was the one who was egging on Bradley. Watch the video at mlb.com and listen to the first base coach's interview on xxsportsradio.com before you pass judgement on Bradley.
I think it's terrible that an umpire can antagonize players who are not even talking to them, then eject them when they talk back.

yeap its freakin hilarious. he's known for always doing this crap. that's why he's been booted from team to team every season. he should defiantly seek some anger management and try to learn that the umps are just trying to call a fair game.

All these people on here who say they are glad to have seen him get hurt and he deserves worse, are DEAD WRONG. Obviously these people have never played sports or seen an injury, because they are horrible. I'm tired of posting on these "I Hate Milton" questions and ones that just rag on him all the time. Grow up won't you? I would like to thank all the SENSIBLE people on his side who have pointed out the facts instead of "jumping on the bandwagon."

I LOVE IT!!!! I am a Rockies fan so I saw the entire thing!! He deserves it! He has always had an attitude problem especially with umps and I wish he would have got hurt enough to stop playing baseball. He needs to grow up!
