i used to work at a fertility clinic and the majority of women who got pregnant from clomid had single fetus pregnancies. a few women did have multiples (twins or triplets). I think the rate of multiples with clomid is 30%

I know many women who have used clomid. the rates of multiples are hiigher, but many dr's will do an ultrasound of the ovaries to ensure that there are not too many eggs developing. A responsible dr will cancel an insemination if too many eggs are releasing.
