No, he has a ring which operates on will power. The ring's power is virtually limitless but is no stronger then the user's will. While G.L. can perform feats of strength with the aid of his ring, i.e. lifting a building or truck, without the ring he is no stronger then a normal person.

Not John Stewart, Kyle Rayner or Hal Jordan; but besides their power rings, some of the alien green lanterns have had strength that was greater than earth people. Kilowog was one example; he was on the JLA tv show for a while, I forget how long ago.

Well, he kind of does when he used his ring. That's where he gets his powers. If he didn't have his ring, then he wouldn't have any powers and he would just be like an average person. Although the Green Latern from the Justice League Cartoons on cartoon network is a former US Marine so he's pretty buff.

No he doesnt, his ring does but without the ring G.L. doesn't have any powers.
