Hi all, I am 13wks 2days, so which month am i in? and am i over the crucial stage? as i really want to start buying baby stuffs now!:-(....but i am soooo tensed!!!kindly help me!!!

Yep! 12 weeks is usually when you're generally in the clear. You are three months and one week pregnant and you are in your second trimester. YAY! Congrats! Head out and spend some money, girl! It's the best way to release the tension, if you ask me. ;-)

You should be in the clear now, most doctors say that the chances of a miscarriage dramatically reduce after your 12th week. I understand about waiting though to buy things, my last pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage at 9 week so when we found out we were pregnant this time I was very nervous for along time and just within the last 2 months have begain buying things.
I am 8 months now -- Due Nov. 8th and everything is great still

Technically, you are past the twelfth week, which means that you are past the "crucial" stage. This does not mean that nothing bad will happen, it is merely a statistic. Having said that, the tension will always have something to grab onto--there are so many worries and fears attached to pregnancy and parenting the first year, the first child, well, the rest of your life, frankly! Enjoy your pregnancy, get educated and shop in moderation. Keep all your receipts, cause you might find even cuter stuff later on, and you'll want to be able to exchange.

I had my miscarriage around 8 weeks. I think after 2 months into pregnancy you have less chance of a miscarriage but it is still a delicate time..but you should be okay to start buying..If you want to be sure..wait about 3 more weeks ;)

While receiving my diploma I thought that I crossed only a small drain and I have to cross a river in form of graduation just ahead of me. And walking the stage is not terrifying. It's as simple as walking in the street.

I think so 13 weeks is 3 months
just try to relax
as for shopping advise wait until you know the baby sex
and only shop before if their is a sale

yea ur over crucial stage but its always possible. though youve got a minimal chance. buy baby stuff and have fun!!!! anyway god 4bid if u do have a miscarriage, u can return it all. just keep receipts.

3 months you should be ok misscarriages can go to 4 months but I'm sure or ok just relax don't get yourself worked over this as long you and baby are healthy and the baby is growing properley you'll be ok and you are taking it easy . go ahead and buy baby stuff good luck and congradulations!
