I'm not a great party lover but, when I do go, I am usually one of the little group who sit in the kitchen and talk about anything interesting or sit telling jokes to each other, however the mood takes them. I have had more fun being out of a party I'm at like this than I ever had when I was younger and trying to keep up with the party animals. I've also made a lot of good friends this way because we get to know each other.

As I get older I am becoming the one who doesn't even care to be there, unless it is a big party then I become the-life-of-the-party. I guess it really depends on the party and my mood at the time.

At my age, I will sit with John and have a good chat and watch the others as well.
Often the life of the party is simply obnoxious, and if I don't care to be there, I will not be there.

I like to be in the spotlight, but I don't like to be celebrated (birthdays, babyshowers, christmas, etc.). I DO enjoy hosting parties and being the one to organize things. I enjoy being "the funny one" and "the crazy one". It never made any sense to me???

Parties (small ones) are ok, and I do have my moments,
but I don't live to party.
