No, you need to have sex when you're ovulating which is not near when you're having your period. It's usually about 2 weeks before. You can buy an ovulation kit in a drug store or wal-mart and it works just like a pregnancy test, except it will tell you when you're most likely to get pregnant.

no, that means that you are having sex around the wrong time. conceiving is all about timing. ovulation usually takes place in the middle of your cycle (cycle day 1 being the first day of your period, ovulation will usually take place on cycle day 12-16) Since you are having sex before your period starts, you are trying too late in your cycle. by that time the egg has already passed fertilization.

try testing for your ovulation with home urine ovulation test kits and have intercourse the day you get a positive and for a few days after. this will increase your chances of conceiving.

A woman's most fertile time generally falls about two weeks after the last day of her period, putting it about two weeks before her next period. It doesn't mean either of you are infertile, you just may not be having sex on your most fertile days. You should start charting your basal temperature and figuring out when your most fertile days are, or go out and buy an ovulation test that will tell you when you are ovulating.

no it just means you're timing your sex wrong. u have to do it 14 days after your lmp. or buy an ovulation predictor kit which will tell you the exact days you are ovulating so you'll know when to time your sex sessions

no you should be trying to have sex two weeks before your expected period. then the egg will have time to implant in the placenta before your period starts.
