I absolutely have... used to watch his movies all the time when I was a kid (& they played them on television - I'm too young to have seen 'em when they aired in theatres).
He made a heck of a name for himself in the entertainment industry (specifically in comedy) ... he was also known for being the grand-marshall of the USO and toured for decades overseas to support & entertain our armed forces. He also had golf tournaments... charity events... lots of fans & admirers.
The only time I got to see him in person was about a year prior to his death was when he walked into a "Bob's Big Boy" burger restaurant in Burbank, CA for a luncheon meeting with some friends. It was an honor just to meet him for that brief moment.

Are you kidding? Bob Hope was in about 50 films including a series of "Road to..." films with Bing Crosby, The Lemon Drop Kid, Silver Bells and even Spies Like Us.
He had many entertainment shows shown here in England and I'm sure had many more in the states.
I think he was born originally in England but moved to the States when he was 4 or 5.
Do you have a specific question about him that I could help you with ?

I have heard of him. I think nearly every American has heard of Bob Hope. I live in Los Angeles. One of our airports was recently re-named after him. It used to be called Burbank Airport, after the city the airport is located in. Now it is called Bob Hope Airport.

Most people who like golf or comedy know about Bob Hope. He was also a big supporter of the troops throughout his career. He was famous for his USO shows wherever american troops were stationed overseas.

I have heard of Bob Hope. I couldn't stand him. I thought those Road movies with Bing were an abomination. I thought Bob was personally obnoxious. Jack Benny I really liked. Not Bob.
