Not happy at all. It undermines everything that our soldiers are working for and in the end possibly costing them their lives.
The video of the Aegis Defense Services, another " private security contractor" group, shooting at cars and laughing at it and setting the video to music is absolutely disgusting. There is nothing in the video showing them in a danger or under fire, yet cars going by or buses are randomly shot at by them. They are still free to operate in Iraq. So much for trying to win "hearts and minds"

You can't believe anything that anyone in that part of the world says. They all exaggerate, or even lie, to further their own agendas.
I've little doubt that Blackwater employees shot and killed some people, but the question is how many and for what reason. I also don't necessarily believe Blackwater's account of the events of last Sunday either.
It's not an easy job providing security in a lawless country. So far, none of the politicians that are guarded by Blackwater have been killed. Meanwhile, dozens of Iraqi lawmakers and bureaucrats have been killed. Therefore one could say that Blackwater's tactics are effective.
If they killed civilians without provocation, I hope that those responsible will face justice for their actions. I doubt it will happen, however.

The blackwater personnel that you mentioned have not gotten away with anything yet. My understanding is that they are going to be tried by the Iraqi government. Since they are being allowed to work in Iraq by the Iraqi government, it is only approprate that they evoke their jurisdiction in the matter. If it turns out that they were dusting insurgents as they claim, they will be set free. If they were acting like insurgents and indiscriminantly killing civilians, then let them hang! Either way it doesnt reflect on the thousands of other hard working soldiers and civillians who are working hard to stabilize the Iraqi government.

As a citizen of the United States,I was appalled to hear about the Blackwater company. As I understand it,they have been removed from Iraq and will be dealt with in a way that suits their crimes. There are a lot of people in this country who will not let go of it until the right thing is done. We really arent as bad as the propagandists would have you believe.

i think ill. unlike apparently another poster - i relatively examine the completed article. each be conscious. I have little doubt by any ability of its veracity. issues like this do bypass on, our protection stress has been pushed previous human limits, war crimes have been maximum easily committed in Iraq. And denying that's real does no longer help each physique. maximum of those atrocities are the gasoline for recruiting people who could seek for to harm individuals, and that's in our superb pastime to handle this very real subject - incredibly considering that's obvious that those mentally risky, violent everybody is coming abode and at the instant are in OUR back yards. P.S. i did no longer recognize that Timothy McVeigh became a veteran of the Gulf war. that relatively explains very much.

After all, only Iraqi's should be allowed to senselessly murder their own people. If we killed all of them, then we could have kept all the oil and established a stable state for the first time.

The company did not kill anyone, some employees did. There is currently a joint Iraqi/American investigation being done to determine if the killings were justified.
