She may be concerned that his behaviour might influence the same behaviour in you. She's being a concerned parent and you can't fault her for that. The best you can do, is come and sit down and talk to her, have her meet the boy in question, and suggest a few group dates so that she feels you are more secure. As you grow in maturity, and she feels more familair with him she may start allowing formal dates between the two of you.

let him meet her. its the only way, i reckon. if he can convince her hes not some crazy freak, then itll be fine.
