i agree.
it seems that you can be proud to be ANYTHING but white.
you can segregate and have your own race speific events, scholarships, fraternaties, beauty pagents, and etc as long as you aren't white.
you can even be a hateful bigot and slur anyone you want as long as you aren't white.
no you are not alone. the majority of people think this PC bullcrap has gone way too far.

Black Americans say that they're black and proud because the vast majority can't say they're Nigerian and proud and Sudanese and proud because our ancestors were stripped of our identities and cultures when they arrived. Consequently(in the United States ONLY), "black" is a culture as well as a race.
White, is not a culture. You know very well where you ancestors came from therefore you do not have to "settle" for celebrating your whiteness. You can celebrate your Irish heritage or your German heritage and no one will ever call you a racist for that. The fact is, you have more in common culturally with a black person from your area of the country, your socio-economic group, your religion than a white person from a completely different part of the country. Personally, I think we should all be proud of who we are but you really play yourself when you complain about something when you very well know the origins of the issue. 200 years of wrongs were supposed to be made right in 40 of a quasi level playing field? Yeah right.
Siamese eyes - you're a world class idiot and people like you ruin it for all whites and Americans in general. You came here first after the Native Americans and everyone else copied you? I think I'll stop laughing by the time I get home but who knows?
You guys do realize that "Tara J" is not black and is the same person who used to have the avatar with the blond pigtails right?

What world are you living in?? How many "white" shows, radio stations, groups, schools, etc. are there?? There's definitely much more "white" organizations than there are black ones. It seems like it just stands out more when there is something going on for "black people only"..and what is the big deal if there is? We all come from different cultures and the truth is we cannot all relate to the same things in the same way. Calling somebody "whitey" is MUCH different than calling someone "n*gg*r"! I'm sure its not bothering any other race that you are proud to be white. Now, if you feel as if you are better simply because you are white, then yes thats wrong and that is racist.

Because white pride has been wrongly portrayed since the beggining of society. *Royals were more beautifull if they were super white, blonde and blue eyed, they would go to crazy lenghts to go one shade whiter like bleaching with chemicals and using white powder on their arms to make their veins look blue and have 'blue-blood'. *The lovely KKK. This people were ovbiously proud of being white, that's no crime, the crime was what they were doing to the other races. *The Aryan Nation. Adolf Hitler wanted to create the perfect race, blonde, white and blue eyed, but he was fince with people just being white. He was killin' too. *The minority of white pride who became famous/recognized were pridefull man who could not tolerate differet colored people, that is just a branch of white pride that went crazy for some decades and although it still exists it's not legal anymore. *The whole society sees white people as prettier, sophysticated, and all that pretty stuff. A black woman can never be called 'the prettiest one' because always before her will come a white woman, no matter how attractive(or not) she is. Color is what matters. Society is stupidly obssesed with this. *Meztizo Latin America vs Argentina: You were wondering about hispanics, well this is one of the causes of them hating white people. It's pretty stupid if you ask me, but as an Argie I have to live with this everyday in the internet. 97% of the Argentinian population is white, while the 3% left is made of other south americans whit a citicenship(the most), mestizo and American indian people. Argentina's european ascendence is creating a huge racist problem. We're being hated for being white, we're being made fun of because we're white, then we'll hate you cause you're black/mestizo and make fun of you cause you're fun mestizo. It's stupid, but happens. Although it only happens when both parts feel that the other part is being racist, so if there are no white/black/mezstizo coments, then this won't happen. Overall, if you consider this a tl;dr response, I can sume it up into fewer words. "White pride is wrongly seen because the common white pride we see on tv or history channel came from a few extremist whites that made their ideology a cult. So the rest of the world put all people with white pride into the same bag" I completly agree with white pride, it's as legal as black pride and people should stop thinking about Adolf Hitler everytime they see a white person, not everyone hates blacks, having white pride does not mean you are racist or hate other races, you are pridefull to be white, that's all.

Good grief. You aren't thinking about the historical context. White people have a history of dominating other cultures. Not just in America, look at what the British did in India and Australia! And look at Africa - there are only two countries on that entire continent that weren't colonized by European countries. All of this colonization came hand-in-hand with disastrous polices to destroy cultures (think Indian boarding schools) and "wash the people white." (This theory was especially popular in Australia, where they had a whole methodology of how many generations it would take to turn an Aboriginal person white). So what you're seeing now is a backlash - These cultures are saying they are valid, they will not be washed white, and white people aren't the greatest people on earth like they tried to say for generations. So other cultures can say they're proud because they're fighting for equality. When white people have said it historically they have meant superiority.
And you can't say those racist terms for the same reason - the history connected with them. The N-word has a much deeper history of hate and pain and oppression than calling someone "whitey." Sure, it's not nice if you mean it as an insult, but try being called a name that has as much painful history attached as the N-word. Oh wait, you're white, so there really isn't a word like that you can be called.
You shouldn't be ashamed of who you are. Just be intelligent and aware of these issues. Just because you can't have "white radio" doesn't mean you're suddenly oppressed - look at the demographics of how many white people go to college compared with any other group. You still are part of a priveleged group, and that's partially the reason this fight for equality is still going on.
Go fight your battle with the wackos in the KKK and the ANF - I hope to God no one associates them with the majority of white people today. There's your short history lesson for the day, I suggest you read up on civil rights movements and the history of colonization.

I dont think that all whites are racist, although there are some white people who thinks they are above the law. Some whites think that being a racist is cool, not religiously knowing if they are really in a respectfl position to be considered as a racist.
To be known as a racist is to be sophisticated, elite, good upbringing, very intelligent, rich, and highly rspected by their group of people . They have the right to be a racist, because they can prove and carry it with sophistication.Being a trying hard racist are those people who doesnt even know the literal meaning of it, and i think its pathetic to those people who consider themselves better than black,or asians, or mexicans, just because theyre whites. There could be only one reason, its either these people are smarter than whites, and theyre are supposed to better than the rest. With these very wrong insinuations and assumptions, the more they tried to be cool and and be called "racist" the more they are being judged of whothey really are, as an individual of . And i think theres a lot of "not white" will be rocking to their grave once the truth is revealed.
We are Gentiles, the second chosen people of God, and with that, my argument is presented.

You again. If you're so proud, why do you have to take up half the damn page boasting and BELCHING about it?
I see no credibility or integrity in your "proudness".
Blah...Nothing.
EDIT:
I did translate from Spanish to English what ClayBiggs the answerer above me stated in his answer:
"No eres racist sino que eres una perra que se queja"
which translates to English:
You are not racist but that you are a dog that complaint.

White people divide off into their own herritages. White people can be British, Italian, Irish, German, Greek etc..... and they're proud of their background and that's why you see so much Irish Pride, Italian Pride, Greek Pride etc..
Atleast that's how I think of it.

Speaking as a 50 yr old, southern white male, I have never heard anyone but white people (seeking to excuse their racism) make the claim the only white people are considered racist. As far as white and proud? I'm white and I am proud, but my pride has nothing to do with my color. My color was nothing but an accident of my birth. If a person is to be proud it should be for what they have accomplished in life, and for who they have become.
