Does anyone else miss the old "metal" days like Metallica...i hate the new screamo crap that is considered "metal"...you can't understand a word they are saying. All music now is getting pretty crappy..does anyone else think so?

and not just Metallica, I'm talkin' about GnR, Poison, Led Zeppelin, CCR, Bon Jovi-these are only a few...but even what's considered today as "awesome" can't even compare with the good ol' days.

However, each generation has their own music. Today's generation will be longing for the "good old days" of today's music in another 20 years. It's all a matter of perspective.

Hey, there's still pretty darn good metal out there, like Opeth and Dream Theater, you just have to find it cause it's not mainsteam.
All mainstream music these days are pretty crappy, not all.
