Volume of the pool = 3.141593*r**2*4 cu. ft.
=3.141593*16*4=201.062 cu ft

7.5 gallon/cu. ft.

201.062*7.5=1507.96 gallons

If it is a circular pool, the volume would be
height X area of circular cross-section, i.e.,
4 Pi 4^2 since the radius is the diameter divided by
2 and the area of the circle is Pi r^2.
And multiply this by 7.5 gal./ft^3 to get answer in
gallons. Hence answer is:

approximately 1507.96 gallons.

1 gallon [US, liquid] = 0.134 cubic foot You only gave two dimensions for your pool. Assuming your 4 1/2 foot by 25 foot pool is 5 feet deep, you would need approximately 4198 gallons of water to fill it. 4.5 * 25 * 5 =562.5 / .134 = 4197.76119

First get the volume of the pool by multiplying area by height.

A = pi*r^2
A = pi*(4)^2
A = 16pi

V = h * A
V = 4 * 16pi
V = 64pi

Now multiply this by the ratio of gallons to feet.

64pi ft^3 * 7.5 gal/ft^3 = 480pi gal, which is your desired answer.

Sounds like you're filling a cylinder.

V = pi*(r^2)*h
V = pi*(4^2)*4
V = 64pi = 201.0619 cubic feet

* 7.5 gallons/ft^3 = 1507.9644 gallons

Volume of a cylinder is pi * radius squared * height

V= pi * 4^2 * 4
V= pi * 16 * 4
V= 201.06192982974676726160917652989 cubic feet
V times 7.5 gallons per cubic foot is 1507.96425 gallons.

V = π r ² h
V = π x 4 ² x 4 ft ³
V = 4³ π ft ³
No. of gallons
= 4³ x π x 7.5 gallons
= 1508 gallons (to nearest gallon)

First, find how many cubic feet are in the pool and then convert that to gallons.

Make sure to divide the diameter by 2 to find the radius.

The pool is a cylinder.
V=pi(r^2)h
= pi(4^2)4
= 64pi
= 201 cubic ft

Now convert this to gallons.
201 cubic ft * 7.5 gallons / 1 cubic ft
= 1,508 gallons

The assumption is that the pool is cylindrical in shape...

V (cylinder) = pi*R^2*h
V = pi * (8/2)^2 * 4

V = pi*4^2*4
V= 4^3 *pi = 201.062 ft^3

Take the Volume and divide it by the conversion factor given:

201.062 ft^3 | 7.5 gallons
----------------------------------- = 1507.96 gallons
.......................| 1 ft^3
