My husband said that he heard on glenn beck or one of those crazy talk shows (sorry I think all that man does is try to scare the living shiznit out of people any chance he gets) that the american dollar is worth less than the canadian dollar (fair enough I said this must have happened before everything fluctuates) but according to glenn this has never happened before and it is a sure sign that our econamoy is crashing...so I ask is this true that this has never happened before or is just another one of his scare tactics? If possible could I be linked to acticles on this subject. I have tried a search but came up with nothing. Thanks so much in adavnce.

Yes.. the Canadian Dollar is higher-- what you are looking for is the exchange rate.
The standard of living is higher in Canada tooo.
That means everything is more expensive....

Yes, this has been on the news recently and the keyword is 'parity.' The Canadian dollar is now worth only slightly more than the U.S. dollar. The last time the Canadian dollar reached parity with the U.S. dollar was in 1976.
