There could safely be about three answers here; McNabb, Palmer, and my pick Drew Brees.

Peyton and Tom can debated...of course they have the years in the league and a few titles so I suppose I wont push too hard on that.
But McNabb...please, this guy is the MOST OVerated and Hyped player of all time.
Who are some other QB's that come to mind...Breese, Young, Schaub, Big Ben, Romo...I'm trying to think of some other guys, but they are not in my memory banks.
Of those I listed my two favorite are Romo and Young. Looks like Romo has some quality talent around him and has the opportunity to be thrown to the front of the class in a rather quick time frame...Young on the other hand, is having to do things on his own.
Outside of Young's play, I was completely sold on him when he threw McNabb under the bus...Young is a football player and a leader, he basically stated that if a player can't deal with the criticism of playing then they don't need to play. He threw the weak-**** "Race" card of McNabb back in his face.
Honestly, how is what McNabb said any different that Imus or Rush? McNabb should be fired and suspended from the league. No Justice No Peace!!!
Again, Romo is the Best QB in the league right now and Young is the 2nd Best!!!

Well according to the records of the teams up to right now the Cowboys and Romo are tops in the NFC right along side Farve and the Packers so I can't narrow the list down to 3 but in this order I have it.
1. Brady, Brady to Moss is the Nightmare of every non Patriot fan Alive
2. Romo, He has looked very good and has his share of Play makers he gets the ball to.
3. Manning, hasn't looked as impressive as he did last year(mainly because 3 other guys are running with him)
4. Farve, the Old Man still has it. Him and his team of Rookies are looking very good.
And after that you have a wide open race between McNabb, Palmer, Anderson, Schaubb, etc. The reason most of these other guys weren't in my tops was because they haven't stepped up enough or to the level of these guys

Your are seriously delusional if you think that McNabb is anywhere near the third best QB in the league. McNabb had one good game agianst a terrible Detroit D. That's it....Either Tony Romo or Carson Palmer get the third spot. McNabb would barely make top 10.....quit being such a homer....

i will with courtesy disagree with the sage suggestion of CrashFu. you do no longer pick Jeff Garcia, you pick Ryan Fitzpatrick. Carolina has the fourth-superb protection in league precise now. The Jets are ranked #20. The Panthers are 5-a million at Tampa Bay under John Fox and Jake Delhomme has a 7-a million record against the Bucs. yet you're worried approximately myth factors...ok, Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh has 25 catches for 3 touchdowns interior the previous 3 video games. The Jets have allowed the 2d-maximum passing yards interior the league (265 consistent with pastime). here is the funniest remark that helps my theory that the Bengals passing pastime will do nicely this week. It comes from ESPN's Matthew Berry: "Chris Perry, RB, Bengals: there's a pair of strategies you are able to tell issues are not going nicely at paintings. no person will seem you interior the eyes. people ask how your spouse's pastime is going. and you initiate listening to useful issues approximately Cedric Benson."

It's hard not to pick Romo after watching him move against the Bears pass rush. Not many QBs could have converted 3rd downs while facing that pressure, especially while getting dragged down.
But it's still way too early to make any judgements as to who is the best.

If you think tony romo is overrated you should of seen the way he moved in the pocket and turned would be sacks into 1st downs. He could impose his will on one of the best defenses in the leauge and the only Interception he got was because the ball bounced off the hand of crayton because crayton broke his pinky. He could of caught that pass along with another TD pass had it not of been for that injury.
Keep in mind one of his best receivers (terry glenn) is not playing.

Tony Romo has looked awfully sharp so far. Last year I would have answered Carson Palmer, Drew Brees, or Philip Rivers. It is still early.
