I have seen a number that 44 million people do not have health insurance. Does this number include the 20 Million illegal aliens in this country?

It absolutely does include illegal immigrants. It also includes about 10 million people like me that choose not to have health insurance(but I pay for it for my children). It also includes about 7 million people that have been without heath insurance for less than year due to changes in employment, but who are now covered. When the numbers are correctly figured, you end up with less than 10% of the population that are not covered by no fault of their own. Which proves to me, that the purpose behind the false health care scare has nothing to do with compassion, but with power.

No. And the number is bogus. Roger Hedgecock, radio talk show host in San Diego (and former mayor and former attorney) did an in-depth study of the stats.
The US counts a person as uninsured for the year, even if he is only uninsured for one day. That is about 22 million.
According to Mr. Hedgecock, there are about 8 million people who are not insured, want insurance and truly cannot afford to buy it. There is a large number of people eligible for government benefits who do not apply for them.
About 10 million people have the money to buy health insurance but choose not to buy it.

Yes, it does, and it includes the "anchor babies" of illegal aliens. Some illegal aliens do have health insurance though, as not all illegals work at dead-end jobs despite what La Raza, the Chamber of Commerce, and W. Bush want us to believe.

yes, it does.

In the latest US Census report on uninsured.

16 million of the 45 million without health insurance.

Were not US citizens.

Those 16 million were either legal aliens or illegal aliens living in the US.

Yes, as well as the number of wealthy that don't need it, and young healthy people that don't want it. Also, it counts people that may be in between jobs and insurance companies. Anyone from middle class down to poverty can get health coverage throught the state, Medicaid.

yeah, that fu*ker micheal moore has included illegas WHO ARE NOT AMERICAN. it pisses me off. mind you that figure also includes people who are between jobs, and those switching insurance companies, and also those who are young and believe they dont need health insurance [which is a lot more people than it sounds], and those who are too unsafe for insurance companies. that number is trying to imply that there are people who are too poor to afford health insurrance. which that number would decline so drastically that it wouldnt even be anything more than something you would glance over at on a webpage. the number would go down to anywhere between 1,000,000-3,000,000 people. considering the current population of the united states is well over 300,000,000 i think a maximum of 1% is pretty d@mn good dont you? micheal moore is a sad strange obiese man, who makes me very angry. do not listen to him. he feeds you and the rest of the american people lies. yes there are probibly 15,000,000 americans at any given time without health insurrance but those are mainly people who are TEMPORARALY uninsured. that statistic does not account for temporary problems. people need to do thier reseach. speaking of doing reseach, look it up. there is currently a number like 5,000 people coming over the border dialy. multiply that by 365. yeah, there is a lot more than 20 million here. so if you please, take the right number my fellow americans, dont listen to the lies put forth by the liberal media, listen to logic, listen to truth, listen to conservatives.

Not at all .It's just given to them .The libs like to spend the money of the middle class .But the real rich keep their money in banks out side the U.S. so as not to pay taxes on it.Ask T. Kennedy about where 300 million dollars of his family is kept. It' called off shore banking.

I do not think so but it does include everyone who was uninsured at any point in the past year even if it was only for a day or two.
