One is about the Egyptian god Ra. The legend deals with the changing seasons. It's way long to say here but Google Ra and look it up, it's a fascinating legend about the Nile, the growing of crops, the cycle of the seasons and the stars!

Most Libraries have an edition of "A Treasury of American Folklore." It was edited by B.A. Botkin and the forward is by Carl Sandberg. You'll find tons of legend material that will give you a step up on your paper.
