Number of rays and number of angles??

Whats the connection between the number of rays and the number of angles?? If there are 3 rays how many angles ETC???

If reflex angles are not included:
1 ray = 0 angles
2 rays = 1 angle
3 rays = 3 angles
4 rays = 6 angles
5 rays = 9 angles
n+2 rays = 3n angles
