vampires? my little cuz just watched a movie with them in it. she started asking me about vampires lol. if you do believe can you tell me why and what they are about. thanx a million.

Vampires are fictional, but if you look back in history there have been people who drank blood, or even bathed in it because they thought it would keep them young or looking young. Read up on Vlad Dracula he is also known as Vlad the Impaler. He was the inspiration for Bram Stocker's Dracula. The story of Vlad the Impaler is a good one and very interesting.

There are actually people who hang out in underground clubs and do drink eachothers blood, but that's just because they're weird and think they're vampires, when in reality the stereotypical vampire who can fly and turn into a bat, etc doesn't exist.

i do believe in vampires but they are not the vampires u see on tv

on tv they are just for entertainment but in reality they are people who absorb energy from other poeple like if a vampire from the tv where to take blood from someone the feeling of when u do that is the same

vampire came about i believe in the 17th when they would see poeple in grave unburied with blood on thier mouths and long finger nails and hair but that is because some their body is shrienking as a part of decaying this and things from other story all came together to make up a character in a book called dracula

dracula came from this one man who in translyvania is a hero but what he did was a protector of the land but he brutally tortured those who were invaders and did who knows what with them but he did his job

no. but there are total oddballs who think they are. There is also this one guy who has this disorder thingy where he can't eat solid foods so the only thing he can eat is cockroaches and water (well he doesn't EAT the water!) He got his teeth sharpended right where the fangs of a vampire would be, so he could suck the "stuff" out of the cockroaches better. ewww. i gonna go hurl in the corner now....don't mind me.....i'll be fine.....

vampires are undead: they imitate life but are not alive, they feed and prosper off of/at the expense of human life, they can change shape, they can control the minds of their minions, they can exist for centuries, they do not reuire oxygen to survive, and they cannot be killed/destroyed as a human can.

in short, we today call them "corporations."
