Okay, serious answer now...you asked for it.
On Tuesdays I help counsel AIDS victims at the Pittsburgh AIDS task force. I help them get their lives together, get jobs, school, a shoulder to cry on, rehab, whatever they need.
On Wednesdays I am a second tier counselor for RAINN (rape abuse incest national network). Some calls need to be escalated to a higher level and those are the ones I take. They are the extreme violent ones.
I volunteer once a month at a soup kitchen.
I do an after school winter reading program at the Salvation Army.
I am part of The One Campaign. I've done campus lectures, etc.
Can't think of anything else, but those are a few things.

None right now. I burned myself out on causes from the 60's up to the early 90's.
I did help found the Futilitarian Party in Y2K, but we decided it wasn't worthwhile.

The Catholic Church,Amnesty International,Greenpeace and Pax Christi. I've always avoided geting involved with intelligence agencies and crime sydicates. You know,you hear all these things.

I used to be President of my local American Businesswomen’s Association because I thought it would be a good networking group, but to no avail.
Now I’m in running associations, because the networking is better with runners.
