i sold my second item on ebay last week. But this is the first time i will recieve payment through paypal. The buyer has sent payment, ive accepted and itt has been cleared. But my paypal is tied down to my checking account. So its been 6 business days and No change has showed on my bank statement yet. So my question is, does it take longer than this for payment to show up or have i left out a part in the process?

Paypal does not automatically withdraw money to a bank account. Log into your account. If you see a paypal balance click the withdraw tab and designate the funds to your bank account listed. 3-4 business days to receive.

JS is right, you have to transfer the funds FROM your PayPal account into your bank account. So login to your PayPal and make sure you transfer it. Or, you can just keep the money in your PayPal account and use it later if you want to make an online purchase.

If I'm not mistaken. You have to transfer the monies from PayPal to your account it doesn't do it by default. What if you were using this money for another purchase through PayPal....
So make sure your transfered the funds

You have to click on WITHDRAW, then select it to be transferred to your checking account. Otherwise the funds just stay in your paypal account indefinitely.
