Actually although I'm sure it's tongue in cheek there will come a point where some unlucky so and so has to send them a letter saying that if she is no longer living with the family they have no right to child support.

Wouldn't like to have that job.

A child is allowed to be out of the place of residence for up to but not beyond 42 days ie: hoilday or hospital, after which the parent/gaurdian may no longer claim, but im sure that is not an issue in this sad case.

I would think payments would be stopped until Madeleine is back home.
