Oh Congrats!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so jealous, but you have certainly put your time in TTC...so I'm glad that you finally got your BFP!!
I would surprise him with a special dinner, and include all the "baby" stuff you can find. Baby carrotts, baby back ribs, you get the picture. Another idea is to be cooking dinner when he gets home, act bsy and tell him to check in the oven. Put a bun in there......and then walk into the kitchen after he's opened the oven door. tell him that's not the only bun in an oven!
EDIT: I really like Wanna be's suggestion about the T-shirt!! You could also wear a shirt that says "due in June" or whatever month the due date would be in. Wear that and see how long it takes him to notice.
Good luck!! Best wishes for a happy healthy pregnancy...and baby!!!

Sweetheart, i know that you are pregnant. With my little girl, who is 4 now, I tested once and it was negative then I was late by like 1 day and I tested again. It was so faint I almost couldn't see it. I waited another day and tested again, It was a really faint line. I then went to the health dept. because it is like 1 block from my house and tested there. It showed the same thing. So I made a appt. with the OB/GYN and they did a blood test and guess what? I was pregnant. So congratulations you are gonna be a mommy!!
Good Luck.

WOW Congratulations.... I had told my husband as well I wasn't right before I really told him... I wanted the moment to be right... I went and bought a bib that said "daddy's little side kick" and put it in a bag with the test... and it was his birthday as well so I bought a cake that said "happy birthday daddy!" It was so touching... and the expression on his face is something I will never forget.... After 25 months FINALLY! Congrats I am so happy for you and best of luck... keep us posted and tell us how it goes..... CONGRATS once again.

When I told my hubby I went and got a congratulations card and on the front it said something about " a bright new future"
and on the inside I wrote "we're pregnant" and a few words about what a great dad he will be.
I did the same thing as you though, he called me at lunch and he asked if I took a test or not and I had to lie and tell him no I didn't ... It was the hardest thing to keep from him till he got home, but I couldn't tell him over the phone I had too be able to see the look on his face!!!

Write "Hello Daddy" on your belly and circle it and make little circles going down your belly to where the baby is. Just tell him you have something on your tummy you want him to look at. I wanted to do this with my pregnancy but I got too excited and told him on the phone! Have fun, congratulations and good luck!

When he comes home ask him something like "Do you prefer the name blank or blank for our child?" It'll take him a second to catch on but it would be really cute and he'll probably flip out and cry and be all happy and stuff. Congrats!

First of all... CONGRATULATIONS!! secondly... remember that episode of Full House when Becky found out she was pregnant and so to tell Jesse, she cooked dinner which consisted of BABY carrots, BABY peas... and other BABY versions of foods. (you might wanna do cornish hens which are like baby chickens in order to make sure you're both full. i dont think the baby vegetables will do it haha especially now that you're eating for TWO :) :) ) lol i think thats so cute!! have him guess what the candle-lit BABY themed dinner is for... see what his expression is!

Congrats! Ok, so I saw this episode of "Full House" where Rebecca was going to tell Jessie she was pregnant...she made him 'baby' carrots, 'baby' peas and 'baby' shrimp (or something along those lines) to hint around that they were going to have a baby and I thought that was ADORABLE! Good luck!

Run out right now and have a teeshirt made... Have it say "You're gonna be a daddy!" and have it gift wrapped. When he gets home, tell him, while I was out today, I found this and thought it would be perfect for you! Then give him the box!
Congratulations!!
