When we were still dating my now hubby once drove over 150 miles and was sitting on top of his car outside my work with a bottle of wine and a rose. I had no idea he was coming.

It's kinda weird because we wereboth all sweaty. But this guy friend of mine and I use to play tennis all the time. We brought some CDs to listen to and this one really great song came on..."Almost Paradise" from the Footloose soundtrack which was one of my fave movies from the 80s. Anyway, I was singing to the song and kind of swaying back and forth to the music, saying "oh this is the part of the movie when" and he just walked over took me in his arms and we started dancing. Like I said we were both all sweaty, but it was still sweet.

My Husband surprised me for our anniversary this year and took me out to eat at a spindle top restaraunt, rose petals on the table, and a few other things. It would take a whole page to explain all the sweet things he did that day... He will have a hard time topping this years anniversary gift! â¥

Well this guy I was crazy about took me to a kebab shop/restaurant (I'm a vegetarian) called "Chicken Land" on our first date and, despite my protests, said he'd pay for both of us. It then turned out he didn't have enough money so I had to pay for my food and half of his. That was pretty romantic. I guess I should have known then that we were doomed...

Pretending to like baseball - even going so far as to learn the names of some of the players and how the game works. I won't lie, as dumb as it sounds, when we were watching a game on TV and she yelled "Turn the double play!" at the screen, I picked her up and carried her to the bedroom.

no one has ever done anything romantic for me.
i used to grow my own roses for women.
if yahoo ever lets me, i will put a pic of them in my avatar. guess they figure roses are romantic, which could lead to sex, therefore, it is adult content.
kind of like the witch test in "monty python and the holy grail".
roses are very hard to grow in conn., which makes it twice as romantic.

My bf is such a dork, he learned how to play "hey there delilah" with his acoustic, and sings it to me almost every night, he re-wrote the words to say my name, and stuff about me. It's sweet, but like i said, he's such a dork...lol*
