If you park your vehicle with the steering turned and shut the key off you might not be able to turn the key back to the start position because there is pressure against the key from the steering wheel trying to turn back. Pull on the wheel in the direction the wheels are facing and turn the key. Are you using the right key? Is this a problem getting the key out? Is the key turning to start and the starter won't turn?

If it is a double sided key, turn it over and try again. Also try turning the wheel left and right while trying to turn the key, sometimes the steering locks. If neither of those tricks work, tap the key LIGHTLY by tapping it on the end with a small hammer while trying to turn it.
Still no go? tow truck time.

Couple things to try. The steering wheel turning is one. Check that the car is fully in Park. Wiggle the shift lever. Also try neutral. Make sure you are pressing the brake. My truck will not allow you to turn the key unless the brake is depressed.

you may have locked your steering wheel. try turning the wheel slightly as you try to turn your key.
if you did lock your wheel, that should get it unlocked, and let you start the car.
if not...id suggest a google search.
