Afer doing extensive research on many cars I finally found the one I want. Ok guys I really want a newer model Audi A6 3.2 Quattro. Everyone has there dream car, this is mine. I work hard and hardly spoil myself, I always put everyone else infront of me. I really want a pre-owned certified used 2005 Audi A6 3.2 Quattro with atleast 30,000 miles on it, because I can't spend that much.

What advice would you give me to not get overpriced for a used Audi, and how much would a used Audi cost with around 30,000 miles on it?

Also how much would insurance be, like give me a close number to your knowledge.

Any general tips on financing, extended warranties, insurance cost, please I would really appreciate. Thank You!! I was thinking of a BMW but I like the Audi's better.

Alex

Look, your mind is set on this car. You like it and it's a good car. Go for it and forget what other people say (I think it's a very good car, but it looks like a bar of soap on wheels, but I'm not the one buying it, so my opinion about how it looks doesn't count, and it IS a good car. )

I have lots of experience with the prices of Audi's because of my connections with car lots. A 2001-2003 Audi A6 with 50,000 miles usually costs around $22,000, so an 05 Audi A6 with around 30,000 miles on it would probably cost you $30,000. You could get an 2004 Audi A8 with 50,000 miles for $32,000.
The insurance will be very high because you are still young. The insurance price lowers at the age of 21 if you would still have a clean driving record. The insuarnce will also be expensive because it is a german car and its luxurious and sporty looking. If you get full coverage, the insurance will be over $2500 a year.

Well I have owned both a BMW and Audi. The 3.2 is a good motor but the 2.7 turbo model has quicker times as well as the rs6.... but that one is $$$$. Audi has a smoother ride and i like their manual trans better but the motors of BMW are oh so good. I had way higher insurance with my Audi but lower maintenance cost overall.

I also agree with the guy above me. the looks of the newer audi' can be a bit too much like the passat. the headlights are practically the same. i cant stand that. their interoirs are getting to cheap as well but there are still very nice if you opt for the better models like the RS6

Pricing for a C6 (that's the current model group) A6 will vary by location and condition. I'd suggest you contact your local Audi club if there is one.

Also, you should check out the forum AudiWorld (www.audiworld.com) which has a very active message forum of owners who can give you advice and what to look for. I'd look for the C6 A6 forum to find answers to your question. I'd first check the archives first before you ask the question, because experienced hands will ask if you searched the archives first.

Insurance is going to vary, again, by where you live and your age and driving record. Obviously, if you're a young driver, you will pay quite a bit.

it's a great choice)))) 3,2 Quattro on a newer model is good stuff for sure.

although I am buying Audi RS4 Quattro, the possibility of buying A6 Quattro 3,2 as a second car is 150 per cent.

P.S. when you found one, don't forget to send me some pictures okay? :)
