I am currently on cerazette - I have had a light period now for about 2 weeks - I get married in 4 days and really want to stop my period even if it means using a condom -- If I change my pill from cerazette straight onto the combined - will this cause me to have a period anyway even though I changed to combined without a break?

Any advise if you have had this problem on cerazette how to stop the bl00dy periods (excuse the pun) I really dont want to get married and be on my period - I actually havn't slept with my husband to be and so our wedding night would be very special - If I can get myself sorted!!

Hiya. Go to the doctors. There's a pill you can take to stop you bleeding and in the circumstances the doc will prescribe it no problem.
Have a lovely wedding too. xx

We set a date of june 19th, 2010. We planned it around his grandmother's b-day, his mother's b-day, and my period! I'm on the pill so of course I'm pretty regular, so I counted the days for 2 years and figured out when it would show. Of course it may have not been accurate, and I may wind up with it anyway, but I'm really hoping I won't. My advice to you is to drink a lot of water. It seriously helps the bloated yucky feeling. It flushes out your body a bit so it doesn't retain as much. Also, be sure to air on the side of caution and change your tampon or pad every two hours or so. As for the discomfort and pain, definitely take something. I'm on the pill now and can't take acetaminophen (the active ingredient in Tylenol and other pain relivers), but my personal favorite was Pamprin multi- symptom.... Stuff is a god send! Good Luck!

Talk to your doctor.

You CAN have sex on your period. Just lay down extra sheets or do it in the shower/tub. Or just delay the sexual part until you are not on your period.
