Yeah, he was right. Homosexuals are killed there. Hence - there is no homosexuality in Iran.
His hypocrisy is legendary.
No holocaust either? Sure, the rest of the world is blind and he is the only one that is academically open minded enough to research the holocaust with no prejudice. Some academic.
Death to Israel. Death to America. Yet he speaks of seeking peace and points the finger at the rest of the world?
Iran is a 'victim' of terrorism by the US? Yet, he says the US has to blame itself for terrorism?
Columbia should be ashamed for giving him the status of an academic and letting itself be used for shallow rhetoric.
Let Ahmadinejad go back to speaking in front of his state controlled press as parades of military equipment roll by with 'Death to Israel' written on his weapons. Until he can live the words he spoke today he should get even less credit than Americans give their own politicians.

Funny how that phenomenon doesn't exist in Iran, yet they have executed many homosexuals in the past. A fact verified by many human rights groups. So if it doesn't exist that only means they finally killed them all.

Of course it does, but since it's an immoral act, even to most Christian's all over the world, IRAN doesn't wish to bring that behavior to the forefront. The bible places men who lie with men in the same behavior as murderers, adultery, blasphemers, and the most despicable acts to god. It shouldn't surprise us that a country ran under a religious government, should shun such behavior.
That being said, I believe everyone has the right to live how they wish, but in the end god will make final judgment.

Homosexuality is as old as humanity... it exists there.. it just isn't in the public eye because they would either be beaten to within a inch of their life (or they might finish the job).. or from fear they never express that part of their being.
two options I'm glad we avoid here in the US aren't you?

Basically, they are intolerant in the extreme, if you choose to disbelieve the execution articles.

Free Speech? What does the Qu'ran say about it? Why isn't that being protested over there? Who would make them disappear? Isn't that human Rights Violation? Why aren't they over there protesting their right to get married, because they love each other?

Let's put it this way, how long to you think a gay parade would last over there and how long do you think those people would remain alive?
You know he knows better than that. I'll bet they have no choice but to remain in the closet for life.
