I'm listening to this speech to Columbia University right now, and he can't even answer Yes or Now to a question like, "Do you want to wipe israel off the map, Yes or No?".

He ran around the question and couldn't even answer Yes or No. Seems like a pretty simple question to me?

Ok, well as I'm writing this, he seems to be self imploding even more. This is gold.

Kaz, do you think Israel should be wiped off the map?

I bet you could answer yes or no to this question.

Any sane person could answer this question with a yes or no answer.

I think a lot of it comes from Persian culture. I don't believe Persians answer questions directly (and its not done to be coy or avoid the question). Persians usually give examples and metaphores as answers.
But ya..I'm still laughing about the "no homosexuals in Iran" answer..lol

The last time I checked he was a politician - probably still is - probably attended the same schools as The Shrub (or the Devil for bilingual readers) - probably did as well as he did.

I've watched him in several interviews. He rarely answers a question directly. He likes to beat around the Bush.

I'm sorry that was bad. Couldn't resist.

I feel the same way as I listen to it right now also...

Obviously he has been studying American politics and has mastered our political strategy of question evasion.
