Don't forget to get a small swarm of dung beetles also, then, because otherwise you'll have to clean after the goat!

The only problem with this is he will eat your grass leave dirt behind. But I do like the name Shecky. Plus after about a year you will have enough money from the goat rides to buy a mower

Cool! check the zoning laws in your area and see if you can have a goat where you live and go for it! And have the kids pay $1($2.50 for a quick ride on the goat (LOL))( I'd PAY to see that!) and bring something to feed the goat and you supply a list of foods they can bring to feed the goat and you make money and don't have to even go anywhere to buy goat food. But you have to film the goat rides, that would be hilarious.

You only talk abt the good part.
I used to have abt 3 goats, I kept them right at the far back yard, and we chased them back to their area any time they got to the other area.
You know why?? They ate and barked almost any plants they could find.
They rather eat hybiscus leaves, and they eat the young branches, they like jasmines, only plants with spikes they dont touch.
Sure their poops could act as vertilizer.
The kid to pet them ? They get bored.
Frankly speaking, animal which are good to cut grass thru my experience were geese and ducks. They purely eat grass, no other plants, their poops? every where.
Where do you live? Some areas, you cant have them .

My city(could be county or state, I forgot...) sometimes hire some 'Goat crew' to clear weeds and unwanted, over grown plants along the highway or a vacant land. It is very sufficient & faster way to do the clean up since the 'crew' eat practically anything and everything without complains. If you have a goat, it will eat everything for you, but you are the one to clean up after him. You won't have anything to fertilize after your goat eat up your...whatever you have in your yard.

sounds good, but some one would complain, either about the goat, or the smell. , then you would have to follow it around with a bag to catch it,s poop, then the city would probably file charges against you for keeping a farm aml in the city, see were all interested in keeping our Nebr's in line other than keeping our noses to our selves,
