Ribosomes would be attached to the ER. In case of proteins this will happen. In case of steroidal hormone, it would be synthesized in the smooth ER.

most hormones and proteins are synthesized by the ribosomes attached to the endoplasmic reticulum, especially the smooth endoplasmic reticulum

the ribosomes would be attached to the endoplasmic reticulum in this case, because any protein that is destined for secretion must enter the secretory pathway--the first step of the secretory pathway is for the protein to be synthesized at the ER membrane.
