What is just SO wrong about gay couples???

The main "excuse" that I am disclaiming here is the whole "If people are gay or lesbian, then there will not be any children!!! Men and Women were meant to be together to make children".......


Have you not looked around lately?
They world is over populated.


I think we need more gays and lesbians out there so that we can get our numbers down, just a bit.

Besides, gays and lesbians want to adopt children.
So all those kids that dont have a family will be given one!!!!

Are you saying that we need MORE people on this earth?
And that we need those kids to stay in the foster homes and never have a family?

I bet everyone 5 bucks that I will get something like "Got made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve".

Hopefully to address your question, I would like to say that there is something that is wrong with everyone on this earth. But people must strive toward something better. I do not agree with the statement that you made about a homosexual lifestyle being the answer to overpopulation. Just like there are people that are born everyday, people die everyday. The earth is taking care of its own population.

As for adoption of children by homosexual couples, I do not think that would be mentally stabling for them. Think about when they go to school and their peers have parents that are male and female. Children can be very mean for some reason and that would expose that child to some harsh ridicule that he/she should not have to go through. It is not to say that a homosexual couple could not love that child but love the child enough to want to free them from certain obstacles in their youth. Children already face enough opposition such as molestation, abuse, and exploitation without having to add feeling different and inadequate to the list.

I hope that I was able to explain this in a way that all understands.

First: A note to GIGGLEQUEEN:
I will put my morals up against any straight person's morals and probably I will come out looking better. Gay is NOT a moral issue. It is a biological issue, as is black hair, and brown eyes and etc.
Secondly: If the Procreation Imperative were seriously applied, everyone would be against elderly men or post menopausal women getting married - I mean - where are the kids in THAT union?
There is absolutely nothing wrong with people of the same gender living together in love, or out. Adopting (needy) children or childless, as a sexual couple or not. Its no one's business to judge (thy) neighbor anyway.

Also, you forgot, what is so wrong with gay singles?

I believe in God, and I believe God loves everyone, unless they have done bad in the world. Not bad like "Ohh, I had sex with a person of the same sex..." If that were so bad, then why would we even feel that attraction in the first place? People say that God creates everything. That means that God creates out genes, and ergo, created gene mutations. Our feelings are based on gene mutations, I like girls because I have a gene mutation, just like every other gay person does. So if God makes people with gene mutations, than God made me gay. What is so hard about that for straight people to understand?

I think God may punish for: Adultery, theivery, murder, and such. Not love. God loves, God knows love, God accepts love of all sorts.

Certainly there are more used excuses for not wanting homosexuals in the world. Such as:

Homosexuals get AIDS, AIDS is bad, therefore being a homosexual is bad.

People just randomly wake up one day and realize that they're gay, therefore, they can just wake up the next day and say "I am straight", it's as easy as that.

The rest are pretty much mean, and they offend me, as do those two, but I needed examples. I think if there truly are Heaven and Hell, God will punish those who punish others. Not those who fall in love.

Any form of immorality including homosexuality leads to unhappiness. God gave us the law of chastity for our happiness, not to create difficulty for a portion of the population. A great deal of happiness is possible through a faithful husband and wife bringing children into the world.

Men and women are very different and only bound together in love and commitment can they properly raise children.

Those who think the world is over populated, haven't considered how large this planet is and how small an area is actually populated.

Consider reading the short blurbs on the following pages. They describe the importance of the family in more detail. They aren't just speculation -- once again there are prophets of God on the earth helping people to understand the principles of happiness. If people don't listen, life will get a whole lot tougher, just as happened in the past.

You are right. American society seems reluctant to accept homosexuality whole-heartedly because the truth is America wants to encourage reproduction. Although it may seem like America is underpopulated (you probably live in California, don'tcha?), we actually have below-replacement fertility rates, meaning in the near future we aren't going to have as many people as we have now. All that is probably changing now, though, because immigrants tend to have more than 2.4 children per family, but American society still insists on expanding its national population. It's not about sociology or biology. It's about politics.

People who use that as an excuse against homosexuality are really just saying "It's something I am unfamiliar with and don't understand, so it has to be wrong."

Actually your main excuse that people use is wayyy off mark. Basically most people think being homosexual is wrong because they are Christians or they belong to another dominant religion in the world such as Judaism or Muslim.
