I mean, FDR had three full terms, and was even elected to a 4th! Why should George W. be kicked out after just eight years? I think he should be president forever!

I mean really, it's not fair. If we have a great president wouldn't we want to keep him as long as possible? Who's with me?

Well, I agree we should keep him.... but I was thinking more along the lines of "keeping him" away from anything shiny that might both a) catch his eye and b) cause any kind of "nucular" detonation....

Repeal of a United States Constitution has to be ratified by 2/3rds majority of the states. Since there are 30 Republican Governors, it's highly unlikely that would happen. Thank Goodness!!

The problem with creating laws that assume you have a good government is that sooner or later you will have a bad one, and the longer they hold power, the more power they have to insure whatever happens in elections the result is the same. . I think it serves as a pressure relief valve. I'm pretty sure if we even had a possibility of four more years of this president he'd have to live in a bunker under the Reichstag, er, um, I mean White House.

besides, I have to think that if Hugo Chavez thinks no presidential term limits is a good idea it's probably not.

For *VERY*different reasons than you, I too would love to see George W Bush run in 2008. Not going to happen, but I would actually look forward to Election Day more than usual. As for the high praise you have for that man... wondering if you're being genuine, or saying all of this in a very tongue-in-cheek way. I can only hope it's the latter.

I'll sign a petition to help Bush pack before January 20th so that he can be back in Crawford mending fences.

If Bush could run , the Democrats would surely win. Why do you think none of the Republicans are running on Bush's policies? The only Republican who is backing his war policy is McCain and he is behind the rest of the Republicans for that reason.

You are kidding, this is a joke, right? The most hated man in America and you want him to have another term?

I don't think he even wants a third term if it were available. He is tired and time worn. He realizes that he has failed miserably and just wants the nightmare to end. He is not alone in that desire to end the nightmare.

If this is not a joke you are very delusional and should seek professional help.

If it were a petition for impeachment, I'd be all over it. I hope you're not serious. He's already done enough damage to our country, so why would anyone consider your petition? If you want a leader "forever", you're going to have to move to another country.
