You will know if they tell you.. otherwise you would be assuming..
I am a lesbian.. when my best friend found out she asked me once if I was interested in her, I said no.. and that was that.. I still think of her as my family, and it's not that I couldn't be.. but, she is like my sister.. the thought isn't even there..
The only thing you can do is ask.. or wait it out..

I found out my best friend wanted me because I started to notice he would hug me like I was a female , touch my butt then say it was an accident . Personally I thought it was sweet .
