That's the area I wanted to go into, because I am extremely interested in any work involving people and/or hospitals and research. However I wouldn't just think about the money. After being rejected from Psychology at the uni I wanted to attend, I began thinking of other things I'd rather do. I found I'd much rather do Immunology, because I love research and am fascinated by things like diseases and their effects. I know that sounds weird... But you don't want to go through all the education you probably won't enjoy just so you can get money. Plus, my Biology teacher told me that there are too many people doing Psychology for that exact reason, so it would be difficult to find work. I have, however, given some pages as sources you could have a look at if you're truly interested. Not sure how useful they'll be to you as they're UK pages.

Oh it pays very well but is a hard area to get into, you have to do a primary degree then specialise in a certain area by doing postgraduate studies. That being said if it's an area you're interested in then it'll be well worth it and you'll be very well paid

There are usually two routes: educational psychology or clinical psychology. Pay is crap in either case.

Criminal psychology is on the up. Give that some thought.

Go into for what?
I would say no if you are shallow and motivated by money then psychology isn't going to be something you find interesting enough.
Try being a bank manager or stock broker....

Pretty good I'd guess.
It's a long course to become a psychologist, it must be worth it.
Check out NHS careers website if you are in the UK. They will have pay rates

in the South.. 24-36k starting salary for most jobs with just your run of the mil Psych degree... a Masters jumps you up to about 50-75K (with experience... no experience keeps you in the 24-36k range) and a doctorate can get you as much as 100K+
