I'm an Independent, does that make me a Liberal ? I used to watch Fox News, but after a while, I came to realize that they aren't " fair and balanced " and more often than not would express their own opinions. I have since switched to the mainstream media, who I find to be much more informative.

Actually, I'm at work right now on a break. I was told I should quit work and stay at home so my disabled son could get Medicaid, Foodstamps and SSI. I am fortunate to be able to provide for my sons needs, so I refused to accept that kind of assistance. My husband is a Marine, so we've got great insurance, and I'm an attorney. I'm not the "sit at home" type. I stay busy, even on my days off, with volunteer work.

What do YOU do all day?

Haven't watched Fox in years but it is far more reliable and allows for more differing views to be heard than the others. I work all day, put myself through college to get two degrees over the past 7 yrs, serve on numerous municipal and nonprofit boards, coach my son's soccer team and so much more- What do you do other than spread hate?

I don't know. Are most liberals on YA so obsessed with their own misguided belief in their self perceived brilliance that they cannot recognize the simple fact that people are essentially the same regardless of political ideology? In short, get over yourself already. People are people. Most of us work for a living and contribute positively to society.

I'm a Conservative. I work 40+ hours a week in the health care field as a direct patient care giver. I have a life outside of work and the house. And...I don't watch TV or listen to any talk radio. I draw my own conclusions from real life experience and what I read from both the far-left and far-right written medias.

So...I don't think I fit your ill-educated description of a "Conservative".

Actually I find a lot of conservatives on at 7-8:00 in the morning, getting ready for work...but liberals not so much until they wake up for their soap operas. Then you watch their answers get more frenetic as they get drunker as they day goes on until they pass out about 10 pm.

No, most of us pop in here throughout the work day while on break or lunch.

Jim W - Common, that's worse than some of the... misdirected crap I have spewed and subsequently apologized for.

zeldarblomqar - Once more a clear display of your "progressive" tolerance eh? Conservatives are just trailer park trash? But, but.. I thought we were rich white corporate types... Common, which is it genius?

I, for one, am not. I don't watch Fox News any more than any other network, probably less than most. No time to listen to talk radio either...........
