if America is a free country, and people are supposed to be able to travel wherever they like, provided they are in the country legally, why is the government prohibiting Ahmadinejad from visiting the WTC site?
They site security, but if he is the pariah they claim him to be I would think they would be more than happy for him to "accidentally" get impaled by a forklift or something.

No doubt, but the global PR would be just awful, and we've already got enough of that.

The victims family and friends have had their share of grief. The most important thing is how they feel about it. I personally would not like it one dam bit if he were allowed on that site.
This is the man that has said that the Holocaust never happened! And wants to eradicate Israel.

Some people are very confused over this.

America is the land of the free....for it's citizens. I don't believe we are required to extend these freedoms to just anyone.
