no I mean how they were as young adults, like how they acted, what they did, etc.

Not really...sometimes it kind of blows my mind that I am 5 years older than my mom was when she got married, but I can totally picture her as a young girl.
As for my dad, I don't really know him well enough to think about him as a teenager or whatever...I mean, I know him, but I don't KNOW him, you know?

Times were very different then, as my parents were young in the 30s and 40s. They had fun I am sure but had to endure hard times such as the depression, and working hard. My mom was made to quit school at 14 to go work in a sewing factory because the family needed money. My grandparents waited in bread lines for staples such as bread, flour and corn meal. They made homemade pasta ( plain with maybe butter or milk --no supplies to make sauce) and polenta ( similar to grits) so my mom and her 3 siblings could have food on the table. But they still managed to entertain themselves and be thankful for what they had.

People of my parents era had to be more responsible than today during the hardships they had to endure.
