I have a IBM ThinkPad - R61; I wonder if the Apple Airport would work with this computer? If I do buy an airport - it will allow me to connect to the internet? Most importantly, I want to use it to send music to a stereo system via Itunes... This is all possible? What Airport would you recommend? And, will I need to buy anything in addition to the Airport itself to make it work? Thank you

Hello, it would definitely work with windows. I would recommend you Airport Express Airport, here is a great link for more information:

Apple will also give you full technical support to help you to set it up (in case you have any problem).

You can send music to stereo system via itunes as well you will be able to print wirelessly.
Good luck1

Here is a short note for you.
The technology is the same worldwide.
Airport is the term used by Apple that covers there wireless technology
Airport can mean Airport Card,Airport ExtremeCard, Airport Base, Airport ExtremeBaseb/g or the newest Airport ExtremeBase/n all are backward compatible.
The Base stations are no more than a Router. So if your intent is to buy an Airport Extreme Base Station it will work with any Computer that is Internet ready, with an Ethernet Card or a Wireless card
