Before you poison the planet any further (no offense) have you looked for or located the Drain Out Plug in your exit/sewage line plumbing? That would be the place to begin, and snake in both directions.

Again and with all due respect the consumer should be aware that advertising and disclaimers are meant to SELL product. OXY CLEAN is a great example of a basic scam. If I want to sell a product I'll HYPE it to the Max.

A sulat TUB drain does not include a "P" trap immediately under the tub, but might at some other section of the 2 inch pipe that leads to the usual 4 inch that exits the house. The Clean out plug might be in the 2 inch somewhere,,,and/or the 4 inch also. It's most often a threaded MALE cap that can be accessed with even a crescent wrench, allowing access to the line in both directions.

You should also be checking Vent plumbing where it exists, for blockage.

The clog may be further down than the snake can go. You might have to call a plumber on this one. Is there water standing in the tub? If so, have you tried that Liquid Plumr that is thick? If there's not water in the tub, try pouring a pot of hot coffee down the drain. Sometimes it will loosen things up.

Good luck! :)

Are you sure the tub is properly vented. DIYers sometimes neglect that part of plumbing and it does make for slow drains.

If the sink and bath are the two clogged, the clog is probable under the place the two waste pipes connect. attempt plugging the sink drain with a rubber stopper and characteristic somebody carry it down tightly on the same time as you plunge the bathtub. this could supply your plunger a greater effective vacuum and with any luck that is going to artwork greater effective.

call your city maintenance shop. We can get a bottle of high powered stuff sometimes from the city. Follow directions and in a day you should have clean pipes. Takes care of hair , roots , and almost always works.

well, i'd say snacking is prolly the problem. especially snacking in the tub. what drain could withstand crumbs from a dozen wham-whams, and 4pints of fudge ripple during your last depression-fueled eating binge?

wait....you said 'snaking'. oh, my bad.
